A wide range of United Kingdom wreck sites exist with differing characteristics and a variety marine life. Exploring a wreck provides a captivating glimpse into maritime history, as well as opportunities to see a variety of marine life. When planning dives at these sites, it is important to consider the slack tide times as conditions can vary considerably with tidal changes. This is a forecasting tool, which makes predictions on the slack water tidal condition of selected wreck sites around the United Kingdom, and has been provided by the creator, in good faith, for this purpose.
The tool uses data modelling techniques, which you accept will not be accurate nor reliable for every situation. Accordingly, you accept that you must additionally judge the tidal condition around a wreck site for yourself, before you start diving, and independently of this tool.
The tool does not make predictions on the risks of approaching, and diving, any given wreck site, and consequently you agree that using the tool in this way is product misuse and negligent. Therefore, you agree it is essential that you judge the risks for yourself, separately from using these tidal predictions. This includes independently assessing the risk from (not exclusively) weather and sea conditions, and the wreck site itself, which explicitly are not services provided by this tool.
Diving, and other water-borne activities, have an inherent danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of, and accept, these risks, and be responsible for their own actions and involvement. Suitable training must be utilised to become competent in these activities – the SlackDiver tool simple acts as another tool to assist the user.
You agree that the creator accepts no liability whatever for financial or reputational loss, damage to property, nor for personal or third party injury or death, arising directly or indirectly from its use.

As an unregistered user you can view the coming week's slack water times; by subscribing, you can view the times for the whole year, as well as display the high water slack times, depth level, current direction and slack water duration. You may also wish to adjust the Data options to increase (or decrease) the diving options. You can also select your preferred sites which are displayed on start up.
The underlying tidal data are derived from the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) POLPred software.
Tide tables for sites around the UK are linked to using the National Tidal and Sea Level Facility (NTSLF) website, hosted by the NOC.
